The estate’s offerings are completed by the restaurant, a bistro overlooking the equestrian center, refined hotel rooms, and versatile halls dedicated to meetings, corporate events, and ceremonies. Over the years, the Agriturismo has established itself as one of the most sought-after venues in Brianza for weddings, receptions, and private events.
The property boasts expansive gardens featuring a charming small chapel nestled in the greenery—a favored choice for blessings during weddings or anniversaries—alongside outdoor spaces perfectly suited for ceremonies, private parties, and convivial gatherings. During the summer months, the landscape is further enriched by various wildlife species that find a natural habitat in the ponds, creating a serene and truly authentic atmosphere.
The Agricultural Estate
The La Camilla farm estate breeds cattle, horses, sheep, poultry, and bees, while cultivating fruits, berries, vegetables, and aromatic herbs using sustainable, soil-friendly practices. Our orchard features persimmons, apples, pears, figs, plums, and apricots. The kitchen gardens and greenhouses are dedicated to seasonal produce, cultivated in accordance with the three principles of biodynamics: preserving soil fertility, nurturing healthy plants, and delivering superior quality food.
Our production is proudly certified by the “Made in Brianza” mark, an accolade reserved for the finest agricultural excellence in the region.
Every harvest is destined for our restaurant: vegetables, fruit, berries, honey, and beef from cattle raised directly on-site. Our pork and artisanal charcuterie are processed by a partner farm in Brivio (LC), while cheeses, eggs, rice, wine, and olive oil are sourced from meticulously selected local Lombard producers. Our shop also offers handcrafted jams, shortbread cookies, artisanal liqueurs, and wildflower honey harvested from the estate’s own hives.
The History
The Agriturismo in Brianza, La Camilla was established in 2000 in Concorezzo. The structure took shape from the will of Gabriella Bassetti, an agricultural entrepreneur who decided to continue and expand the activity started in the 1990s between Sannio and Varese. The land, eight hectares donated by her father Pietro – founder of the company "Bassetti Elevatori" – became the starting point of a project that today involves the entire family. Since 2004, the year the activity began, the agriturismo has grown while maintaining a strong connection with the Brianza countryside and its rural identity. The name of the structure is dedicated to Gabriella's first granddaughter, and even today the company is managed together with her husband Massimo and daughters, Veronica and Virginia. Camilla, now grown, also works in the company.
The Plant Nursery
Within the property, there is a 3,500 sqm nursery offering a wide selection of ornamental hedge plants. Guests can choose plants independently or rely on the advice of the structure's expert nurseryman. The agriturismo also offers a design and maintenance service for private and corporate gardens, assisting the client from selection to care of the spaces.
The Aviary
The aviary hosts numerous species native to different continents. From budgerigars to cockatoos, from crested parrots to diamond doves, to peacocks and Bengalese finches. The area is completed by small animals such as dwarf rabbits, lionheads, lops, and angoras, as well as doves, pheasants, Padovana chickens, and quails. The place is particularly appreciated by children who, during visits and guided tours, can get close to the animals and discover the basic techniques of birdwatching.
The Pond
The pond on the estate is home to turtles, ducks, and various types of fish. During the summer, it becomes a resting point for some wild species such as herons, mallards, nightingales, thrushes, blackbirds, kestrels, and swallows, whose nesting is favored by the agriturismo's natural environment. The area is often involved in "Family Agriturismo" events, experiences designed to bring people closer to animals and nature.
